Buyer Protection
Every watch bought on GEN Watches comes with Buyer Protection as standard. For a fixed fee of £14.99 per watch, added at checkout, your purchase is protected from the moment you pay to the moment you are happy with your watch.
What Buyer Protection covers
- The GENSeal™ security kit – tamper-evident, secure packaging that protects your watch in transit and confirms it hasn’t been opened before it reaches you
- Insured, tracked delivery – postage with GEN-approved couriers, tracked from dispatch to your door
- Escrow payment – your money is held securely and only released to the dealer once delivery is confirmed and you have accepted your watch
- Dispute support – access to our Dispute Resolution process if something isn’t right
How it works
- You buy a watch from a verified GEN dealer. The £14.99 Buyer Protection fee is shown and added at checkout.
- Your payment is held securely in escrow – the dealer is not paid yet.
- The dealer packs your watch using the GENSeal™ kit and sends it with insured, tracked delivery.
- You inspect the watch on arrival. Once you’re satisfied, the GENSeal™ tag is removed and payment is released to the dealer.

GEN personal delivery
For watches sold for over £20,000, GEN Watches will personally collect the watch from the dealer and deliver it to you, at no extra cost.
For any other purchase, you can upgrade to our exclusive GEN delivery package, where your watch is prepared in a GEN presentation package and delivered to you personally. This is available for an additional cost – please contact us for a price.
