Fees & Rates
We keep our fees simple and transparent. This page sets out what buyers and dealers pay when using GEN Watches, and the terms that apply to payments on the marketplace.
1. Buyer Protection
Every watch purchase includes Buyer Protection for a fixed fee of £14.99 per watch, added at checkout. This covers the cost of the GENSeal™ security kit, insured and tracked postage, escrow payment and access to our dispute resolution process.
2. GEN Personal Delivery
- Watches sold for over £20,000 are personally collected and delivered by GEN Watches at no extra cost.
- For all other watches, our exclusive GEN delivery package is available for an additional cost. Please contact us for a price.
3. Payment Terms
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
- Buyers pay the listed price of the watch plus the Buyer Protection fee at checkout.
- Payments are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed, the buyer accepts the order, or the acceptance period ends with no dispute raised.
- All payments must be made through the GEN Watches platform. Paying or arranging a sale outside the platform is not permitted and removes any protection.
- Refunds are handled in line with our Refunds & Cancellation Policy and Dispute Resolution Policy.
4. Dealer Commission
GEN Watches charges dealers a commission of 6% on watches sold. You only pay when a watch sells – there is no commission on unsold listings.
- Commission is calculated on the final sale price of the watch.
- Commission is deducted automatically when payment is released to the dealer.
5. Dealer Memberships
Dealers selling on GEN Watches must hold a dealer membership and meet our verification standards, including identity checks, insurance requirements and GENSeal™ packaging procedures. Membership details are provided when you apply to Join GEN.
6. Changes to Our Fees
Any changes to our fees will be published on this page. These terms should be read alongside our Marketplace Terms of Service.
